?The Amazing Spider-Man 2? First Trailer (Video) Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone

Watch the first trailer for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ with Andrew Garfield returning as the title character, the iconic superhero and his alter ego Peter Parker and Emma Stone returning as Gwen Stacy. It is the sequel to the global blockbuster. The highly anticipated new movie, like the 2012 original of the same title, was directed by Marc Webb and, as noted, Andrew Garfield returns as the Marvel comics superhero. As typical with a first trailer, we see very little of the overall plot but the opening sequence gives some clues of the enormity of challenges the somewhat reluctant superhero must face. As sweeping imagery of the New York City skyline is seen, dwarfing Peter Parker, we hear his voiceover: “The more people I try to save, the more enemies I will make. And it’s just a matter of time before I face those with more power than I can overcome.” And faced with such challenges we see our superhero telling the ever-patient Gwen Stacy that he was held up in a “traffic jam” which she understands all too well what this means — “being shot at” is the least of it.
