‘August: Osage County’ boasts an all-star ensemble cast including Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts and a wickedly dark comedic tone. The movie which was directed by John Wells (‘The Company Men’) is indeed a screen adaptation written by the playwright Tracy Letts himself of his play which also won a Tony Award as well as the Pulitzer Prize.
