Beyonce: ?XO? Music Video from ?BEYONC�? Surprise Visual Album

‘XO’ is the first music video from Beyonce’s fifth studio album, ‘BEYONC�,’ to have its official premiere online via VEVO. As with all else with this wonderfully unprecedented new album, it arrived in full with no advance promotion or fanfare. ‘XO’ was also announced, suddenly, as the album’s lead single and it has been serviced to Top 40 radio and available for digital download the same day as the video premiere on VEVO on December 16th. It’s but one of 14 songs on Beyonce’s visual album, and its music video numbers among the staggering 17 that, like all else with the album, arrived in full. Previously Billboard had announced ‘Blow’ as the first single, but instead it turns out to be ‘XO which was co-written by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and The-Dream. Separately they are known hitmaker producers, and working in collaboration on a song sung by Beyonce, well, we can keep our expectations safely quite high. Same goes for the music video.
