‘The Two Faces of January’ had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival. See the full theatrical trailer of the thriller, which stars Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst and Oscar Isaac, and check out a roundup of reviews from movie critics. The much buzzed about film was written and directed by screenwriter Hossein Amini (‘Drive,’ ‘Snow White and the Hunstman’) and marks his directorial debut. It is the screen adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith novel of the same title. Previous Highsmith novels brought to the big screen include ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’ as well as Hitchcock’s ‘Strangers on a Train.’ The narrative is set in Athens, Greece in the early 1960s, contemporaneous with the novel, and revolves around the complicated lives of the three principal characters; a wealthy married couple from America; Chester MacFarland (Viggo Mortensen) and his much younger wife, Colette MacFarland (Kirsten Dunst) and the stranger, Rydal, whom they meet (Oscar Isaac). He is also an American, living and working in the country as both a tour guide and a con artist.
