Lea Michele?s ?If You Say So? Tribute Song to Cory Monteith (Audio)

Lea Michele’s song ‘If You Say So’ is a tribute to her late boyfriend Cory Monteith, taking its title from the final words he said to her before his death. It is taken from the ‘Glee’ star’s debut album ‘Louder.’ Lea Michele’s ballad ‘If You Say So’ is in marked contrast with ‘You’re Mine,’ which was the other song for Cory Monteith. Penned by Sia, the Australian hitmaker, it was a song she had spoken of frequently in interviews leading up to the release of her debut album, ‘Louder.’ Thus, we knew what to expect. But ‘If You Say So’ packs a wallop. To call it deeply personal is an understatement. It recounts the final conversation Lea Michelle had with Cory Monteith who died last July in a Vancouver hotel room, of a toxic mixture of alcohol and heroin.
