Michael Jackson Hologram Performs ?Slave to the Rhythm? at Billboard Music Awards (Video)

The Michael Jackson holograph performance of the new song ‘Slave to the Rhythm’ at the Billboard Music Awards has provoked a variety of reactions. Is it a triumph of art and technology? The inevitable wave of the future? Or is it creepy and disrespectful of the legacy of the King of Pop? The visceral experience of watching the legendary performer on stage sing a previously unheard song and go through his signature dance moves including the Moonwalk was powerful, no doubt. All the more so as it was a performance never before seen. The television cameras panned the audience periodically, and there were more than a few people who were moved to tears and other displays of emotion.
