Singer Elle Varner celebrated her 24th birthday (along with a new hairdo) with a few of her celebrity friends in NYC recently. See pics of rapper Tiffany Foxx and baller Andray Blatche inside and a behind the scenes look at Kelly Rowland's latest song. ...
Singer Elle Varner was spotted popping bottles of Patron, champagne and other goodies during a party for her 24th birthday in Manhattan at RdV last Friday. And no worries, it's just a wig. The cutie tweeted, "Just having some fun" when one of her followers asked if she'd chopped it all off. We want those big curls back.
Brooklyn Nets forward Andray Blatche was one of the guests that came out to help Elle celebrate.
Artists Fame and Krystal Lavenne posed with Elle and her friends at the party.
Singer Mateo also celebrated with Elle.
After the crown sang Happy Birthday to Elle, she took the mic and sang a verse from her hit "Refill."
And during a recent chat with Singers Room, Elle talked about her next moves saying, "What's up next for me is my second album, that I'm working on currently. I'm excited to tell my story of where I'm at. Since "Perfectly Imperfect" was my coming of age, it was going through college, the motions. Now it's like I have this whole new life. I'm an up and coming artist. I have Stevie Wonder and Michelle Obama, like everything has changed. I really want to reflect on where I'm at now as a woman, as an artist, and just keep it coming."
And in music videos...
Kelly Rowland is teasing fans with a little clip from her upcoming video "Kisses Down Low."
The track, produced by Mike WiLL Made It and written by Rock City will appear on her upcoming album, Talk of The Game (formerly Year Of The Woman). While describing the Colin Tilley-directed clip, Kelly said,
“I’m so excited about this video. The theme is fun and flirty and pinup. The makeup is poppin’, the hair is poppin’, the styling is so cool, but it feels just really flirty. I wanted to bring that out of the song instead of making it as racy.”
Fans can catch Kelly hosting BET’s ‘Rip the Runway’ on March 20 broadcast at 10 p.m. ET.
