Alicia Keys Tribute To Whitney Houston: Funeral Video

Alicia Keys was one of those honoring Whitney Huston at her funeral on Saturday, singing a beautiful tribute of “Send Me an Angel.” Saturday February 18th was the funeral of Whitney Houston. Though it was a private ceremony, there were still about 1,500 in attendance, including quite a few well-known celebrities. Alicia Keys was one of the celebrities who paid tribute to the star and talked about their friendship. “She reached back to so many people; she reached back to me, to Monica and Brandy … all these beautiful young artists, and just made us feel strong and capable and loved.” She talked about how Houston was a “beautiful human being, [who would] call you for no reason at all but to say, ‘Hi.’ ” It is clear that Whitney was not only one of the most talented singers of our time, but that she was genuine person who touched a lot of lives and cared for those around her.
